Don’t let a phishing scam “lure and hook” you!
We have become aware recently through our regulator, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), that credit union members around the country have been receiving fraudulent e-mails (known as fishing) asking for personal information.
NCUA will never ask a credit union member for any personal financial information by e-mail and you should not respond to any e-mail from NCUA or anyone purporting to be a NCUA or credit union official asking for your information.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the credit union or NCUA. The following link will lead you to NCUA's statement on recent phishing attempts.
